About
Brackley Players
WHO ARE WE?
Brackley Players was formed in 1972, from the amalgamation of the Thalian Players and Brackley Amateur Dramatic Society. We are a friendly group of drama enthusiasts who offer our local community the opportunity to participate in, or watch, good amateur theatre.
We normally stage three or four productions each year, along with more informal evenings for charity. These productions vary in style between farce, comedies, murder mysteries and pantomime, with One Acts being the current method for our charity performances.
A wide diversity of talent is required to stage any production, so if you do not feel that acting is your forte, you could consider joining the backstage, creative or technical teams. We often have more people behind the stage than on stage itself! Our members provide Front of House teams for performances as well.
We are always pleased to welcome new members, so please contact us if you are interested in getting involved. We love getting to know new people, and ‘social’ is our middle name!
Come and see our next production!
